FOOT SCRUB

A great scrub which sloughs off dead layers and moisturizes the feet

Ingredients:
Olive oil
Granulated sugar
Peppermint essential oil
Rosemary essential oil
Tea tree essential oil
8 oz jar

Instructions:
Amounts used depend on the size of your container. Fill container 3/4 full with sugar. Add olive oil (you can also use any of your favorite carrier oils). Mix together. You can know that there is enough oil when there is about a 1/16 layer of oil on top of the sugar. Add essential oils. 10 drops of peppermint per ounce of oil used, 3 drops of rosemary per ounce of oil used, 1 drop of tea tree for every OTHER ounce of oil used. The result is a wonderful foot scrub which will help rub away callouses, while nourishing and invigorating your feet. The tea tree oil helps as a deodorizer.

1 cup sliced fresh carrot root
2 cups fresh spinach leaves
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
2 cups fresh, sliced zucchini squash
1/2 cup vegetable water (left over from steaming veggies)
1/2 cup French green clay
5 drops lavender essential oil
5 drops ylang ylang essential oil

Instructions:
Combine all the vegetables and steam until soft and tender. Let vegetables cool completely and save 1/2 cup of their cooking water. When finished, spread the creamy mask all over your body using a small paintbrush. Let the mask sit on your skin for 10-15 mins. Wrap an old towel around yourself and lie down if you like. Rinse off body mask with a warm shower and use a rich moisturizer afterward.
Makes approx. 10 oz. enough for 1 treatment.

Yogurt & Banana Facial Recipe

1 T plain yogurt
1/4 of a ripe banana
1/4 t of vitamin E 1000 IU
2 drops lavender essential oil
1 drops patchouli essential oil

Oatmeal-Salt Bath Recipe
The oatmeal makes the water look murky, but it feels wonderful.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup powdered oatmeal
1/4 cup sea salt
1/4 cup Epsom salt
1/4 cup baking soda
10 drops sandalwood essential oil
7-8 drops ylang ylang essential oil
7-8 drops tangerine essential oil

Instructions:
Combine all dry ingredients in a food processor and pulse. To keep from getting the essential/fragrance oils in my food processor, I transfer approx. 1/2 cup or so of the dry ingredients to a zip lock bag. Add the oils to the bag, seal it, and shake well to incorporate the oils into the dry ingredients and break up any clumps. Once it is well mixed, add the rest of the dry ingredient mixture to the bag and shake some more until it is well mixed. Store in an air tight container. (Could leave in the sealed bag if you plan on using it in the near future.)
Use approx. 1/4 - 2/3 cup per bath.
